Risse and Alex invited us to Maui, Hawaii to capture their dreamy elopement. Instead of having a traditional wedding, these two chose to elope in Hawaii and share experiences together. Together we traveled 10,000 feet up to be among the clouds in Haleakala National Park. We explored hidden lush tropical forests, and walked along the lava rock coasts with the waves crashing. This was a true adventure wedding with two people who are deeply in love and we were so fortunate to be there to capture these beautiful moments with them. We had sun, we had rain and fog, we had everything Maui threw at us. It was an incredibly epic trip, and that’s what we wanted to show in their wedding film. They had a vision of their film being like a meditation. Like a dream or a memory. They wanted anyone to be able to watch it and relate & fall in love with the sights of Hawaii. And yes, they wrote the amazing voiceover together!
