The Wedding Film of Maryellen & Chris at the Indian Pond Country Club

Maryellen and Chris are an adorable couple. It was so obvious on their wedding day how truly in love they are. They both radiated sunshine on an otherwise misty, gray day. If there is an opposite of "Bridezilla," that would be Maryellen, or "Melon" as her family and friends call her. She was so calm and collected and smiling the entire day.  A little drizzly rain on her wedding day?  No biggie. You could tell her and Chris were the perfect team when Chris scooped her up to take her across the damp golf course for photos with no hesitation.

As Maryellen's father mentioned in his FOB speech, the two of them are "ultimate planners." It showed tremendously through the style and elegance of their reception. The Indian Pond Country Club is an elegant and bright South Shore venue that was perfect for these two.

They had gorgeous flower arrangements done by their close friend, a guest at the wedding who recently started her own flower business (Flowers By Emily). She even "flowered" the cake, which looked incredible!

Their DJ, Peter Accolla of NuImage, had everyone dancing on the dance floor the entire night! It was truly a spectacular night spent with a fun, loving couple and a great group of their friends and family! We are thrilled to have been a part of this day and are so happy to share their wedding film!

Becca & Russell's Roaring 20's Themed Wedding at UTEC Lowell

Becca and Russell had an urban, Roaring 20’s themed wedding at UTEC in Lowell, Massachusetts.  It was a rather cool, fall day, but that didn’t stop this awesome couple from doing their first look and photos outside.

The style at this wedding was one for the books. Despite the freezing cold, guests were invited to show up in their best 1920’s themed attire and they certainly didn’t disappoint! The lovely bride wore a gorgeous unconventional pink wedding dress with a fur shawl, definitely necessary for a cool, fall wedding! The bridesmaids each wore different flapper-esque dresses complete with sequin and feathers. It all came together so nicely, I love how all the different dresses worked so well together!

Becca and Russell both incorporated their Italian and Haitian cultures into their wedding. They each brought with them a flag, one Italian flag and one Haitian flag, to incorporate into their video and photos. We found this to be such a unique way to honor their cultures, and super fun to shoot! Another highlight of their wedding was the food...they had some of the best wedding food we’ve had! The catering was done by Russell’s sister and included the best combination of Haitian and Italian cuisine. In lieu of a wedding cake, the couple decided to cut and feed each other pie! They even had a variety of different mini pies for their guests to enjoy. Speaking of guests, they certainly knew how to get down on the dance floor!  We loved capturing everyone dancing in their 1920’s attire. It was almost like we were sent back in time!  And did I mention the couple’s first dance?! Becca is a professional dancer, so it was no surprise that their first dance was a choreographed masterpiece!

We made sure to consider their 1920’s theme while editing their wedding video, and incorporated a little 20’s silent film flare into the reception portion of the video!

Jamie + Josh // Salem Cross Inn, West Brookfield, MA

Jamie and Josh were married at the Salem Cross Inn, a restored 18th century farmhouse on the countryside of Western Massachusetts. It was such a beautiful fall day and we were happy to be guests at this wedding and see my cousin marry the love of his life!

Since this was a wedding in my family, we got our video friends Evan & Jess to shoot this special occasion for us! Mark and I loved putting this film together and sharing it with our family.  Their emotional reactions and comments were priceless- and exactly the reason why we love filming weddings in the first place.

Jamie's reaction after watching her film:

"What’s funny is on my wedding day I don’t think I shed a tear...the closest I came was right before my mom and I walked down the aisle. But when I watched this video I bawled...in a good way of course! I can’t express how grateful I am- we’re so lucky to have this to cherish for years to come!"

These words mean so much to us! It makes us proud as filmmakers to be able reach someone on such an emotional level when they relive their wedding day. It's in those moments that makes us so happy to be part of such a sentimental and timeless industry.
