Weddings Affected by Covid-19
Weddings this year look a bit different. With the pandemic going on, some couples have chosen to postpone their wedding to 2021. Some have chosen to still get married this year, but celebrate with family and friends at another, safer time. However, we’ve seen more and more couples choose to have smaller, more intimate weddings in their backyards, and we’re here for it! Backyard weddings can still be beautiful events, even when adhering to your state’s gathering restrictions.
Backyard Weddings During Covid
We know it’s not every girls dream to get married in their backyard. But with so many restrictions at venues because of Covid-19, your backyard may be the best option for your wedding! Although there is a lot more planning to do (we HIGHLY recommend hiring a planner or day-of coordinator!), we think it’s so worth it, and allows for a more stress-free, laid back day. You can do things on your own terms and create a timeline that is flexible and works for your event with no time restrictions. You can have any choice of caterer for food and beverage options (or how about a food truck?!). Some venues restrict who you can use, so this is a huge benefit. We also love the overall feel of a backyard wedding. Something about them just seems more special and unique. It IS possible to have your dream wedding in your backyard and we have the proof!
