Jamie & Jeff reached out to us about their destination elopement on Martha’s Vineyard when we were already fully booked for 2021. As luck had it, we were already scheduled to be on Martha’s Vineyard for a wedding the same week! We’re so glad we were able to capture their beautiful day!
Martha’s Vineyard Elopement Locations
The day started out at The Richard, a quaint hotel in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard, where the bride got ready. The groom got ready at a nearby hotel, The Sydney, only a block or two away. Once the bride and groom were both ready to see each other, we ventured to their first look spot, the Edgartown Lighthouse (also known as the Edgartown Harbor Light). This really is a perfect spot for a first look as it provides so many beautiful landscapes for photos and video! After capturing some portraits, the couple was picked up by a blue vintage convertible that drove them to their ceremony location at Lambert’s Cove Beach where their family and friends gathered patiently. After a beautiful ceremony on the beach, we went to their reception location, Atria, a spunky restaurant in Edgartown where they had a private tent set up outside with a long table for their guests and a bunch of crafted cocktails and h’orderves. It was a perfect way to end the day!
